Plans to jet Suggs, a photographer, and a trunk full of designer-label threads across the world for a session of shots on some exotic Caribbean beach were aborted when we found there was only 68p in the Fashion Department's Post Office savings book. Instead a quick phone call secured the cooperation of the people at Flip - chic on the cheap - and we found a way to have another, wealthier magazine get Suggs so well wined and dined that he wouldn't know the difference. He was supposed to be modelling Flip's line in overcoats but he got a little out of control. Somehow it didn't seem to matter.
