Crunch Tour Madness The Nutty Boys Magic Carpet Flys The World, Crunch Can't Be Kept Down
When "The Madness" ended Chris and Lee still wanted to work together. They wrote and produced some songs, signing to Link records in 1990 they released an album "The Nutty Boys Crunch". Forming a band with Louis Vause (piano), Steve (sax) Paul Tadman (bass) Dave (keyboards) & Spider (drums) they toured extensively in London, and a few other UK venues including Brighton away days, and even Europe. Releasing a single with a video as "Nutty Boys" they appeared on TV and Radio and kept the Nutty flame burning right through the 90's preparing material for a 2nd album yet to be released (but diehard fans remain hopeful of an official purchasable online download verion in the future.) A 2nd single saw the Suggs colaboration "Magic Carpet finally appear as a single and confirmed the name change to "Crunch" in the light of Madness having reformed. With the odd gig at the 100 club every few years, the band still appear ocassionally today, most recently returning to Brighton in 2008. When they next ride live, hop aboard.
