Tour Madness August 17th 1979 - LONDON: Clarendon Ballroom - Dave Robinson's Wedding Reception
Madness play at Stiff Record's boss Dave Robinson's wedding reception. Invited guests include stiff signings, Ian Dury (an inspiration scource for the band) and Elvis Costello (who has seen the matinee show in Liverpool, and the support slot for The Pretenders). The show is a success, apart from the fact that Carl cuts his finger. Madness have a meeting with Robinson five days later.
