Tour Madness December 12th to December 30th 1979 - THE STEP BEYOND TOUR: Leg 2 UK
Madness' third UK tour in this three months time frame coincides with the release of My Girl b/w Steppin' Into Line (out on the 21st) and mainly revisits places where the '2-Tone' tour ventured.
December 12th 1979: BRIGHTON: Top Rank

December I4th, 1979: CANTERBURY: Odeon
December 15th, 1979: BRACKNELL: sports Centre
December 16th, 1979: BOURNEMOUTH: Stateside centre
December 17th, 1979: HASTINGS: Pier Pavilion
December 20th, 1979: HANLEY: Victoria Hall
December 21st, 1979: DERBY: King's Hall
December 22nd, 1979: LEICESTER: De Monfort Hall
December 23rd, 1979: BRISTOL: Locarno
The day after this show Madness are at the Dublin Castle to shoot a video clip for "My Girl" on a specially extended stage.
December 28th, 1979: LONDON: Lyceum Ballroom
Attendance: 2,000 - sellout
Support: The Bodysnatchers, The Vips, Bad Manners
The tour resumes with the first of two Lyceum-shows. Initially one show was planned for the 30th, but with tickets selling more than well, an extra date is added as the first night.
