Tour Madness March 1980 - AMERICA: American Bandstand Madness make a striking contrast indeed, nutty training their way onto US TV for the first time, weaving themselves in and out of the dancing on set audience that regularly comprise the opening titles of this pop song showcase; a conservative American mainstream TV show that seems stuck in the 60's. They give host Dick Clark the same mixture of "in shot" larking around and endearing diss-respect that they would any other UK TV host of the day. To introduce One Step Beyond, Dick holds up the album sleeve, while during the encore of "Madness" the band decide they will move the location of Mike's piano during the song.
