Tour Madness  March 9th - April 17th 1981 - LONDON: Various Locations Filming for Take it Or Leave it Film
Madness embark on their most ambitious project So far; a movie in which they re-enact their Invaders years. 'Take It Or Leave It' is based on individual interviews full of stories from the past, and will be filmed for £400,000. Madness and Stiff share the costs and set up the Nutty Stiff company. Filming takes place at most of the original places. Only the Acklam Hall is unavailable because rioters committed arson recently, so the November 9, 1978 show will be reprised at the Keskidee Centre. Especially for the reprise of the 1977 debut, the band write the funk inspired instrumental "Don't Look Back" of which the studio take appears in May 1982 on the B side of the House Of Fun single.
