Madness play a children's matinee, dubbed 'Pirates & Parrots Party' at the H.R.H. Elisabethan floating on the River Thames. It is broadcast live on Gary Crowley's programme for Capital Radio and is also the first ever digital transmission from a floating boat. As a reminder of the 1980 Spring tour, Madness open this 45 minute set with Nightboat To Cairo which is linked to Time on the remaining shows of the year. Grey Day goes out to "all the folks back home" and a girl from the crowd volunteers as a backing vocalist on Our House.
