Tour Madness  Over 30 Years of Gigs, Tours, TV & Radio Appearances, & Beyond
Welcome to Tour Madness, Madness Central's complete and comprehensive guide to all live appearances on stage, screen and multimedia...

From a back garden in Islington, 1976, via pubs, venues, theatres, arenas, parks, forests, racecourses, ships, busses and country estates to storming the 02' dome, it's over 30 years of Madness gigs. They became hero's of 80's Top of the pops too, and The Young Ones through 90's TFI Friday to The Paul OGrady Show, and never off the airwaves from John Peel Sessions to BBC6 & Multimedia. There is nothing else quite like live Madness. "All of this".

DO NOT ADJUST YOUR NUT TOUR

With the "Do Not Adjust Your Nut Tour" Madness start a winter tour as early as November for once, as Blackpool hosts a full Madness show for the first time since the 70's. Earls Court is a new choice of London venue, while most other venues are intimate sizes in the 2 to 3 thousand capacity. Matinee Shows at weekend venues are again added like last year's tour.

In promotion of the new Gogglebox dvd set the stage is a large television set showing clips from the dvd's, Ghost Train video, Test cards, and classic childrens TV shows from Bill and Ben to the Wooden Tops, as well as series of visual film to enhance the songs.

The tour brings 5 fresh new songs in preperation for a 2011 album. Big Time Sister, Black and Blue, My Girl II, Kitchen Floor & Sole E La Luna all get their first airing in a system of rotation that sees 2 new songs in evening gigs and 1 if it's a matinee show.

With the return of some lesser played singles, and "The Young and The Old" Ep track, making an appearance for the first time since the 80's, the tour is a great sucess. Chris' Showtime segement gets crazier and longer, now involving songs like "My Way" "It's Not unusual" & "There's No business Like Showbusiness", topical raps, jokes and magic tricks.

There are bumps in the road though as Thommo falls from stage in Leicester taking a lighting pole with him and so misses a few shows. That old menace the weather arrives with heavy snow for the UK too, causing shows in Hull and Sheffield to be postponed until February 2011. So the christmas left overs tour is still to come!
